• A Chromebook will be loaned to your student to help them be successful in school.

We now charge fees for lost or damaged chargers and damage to the Chromebook as shown below:

    • Replacement Charger Fee - $32

    • Replacement Chromebook Fee (if lost or stolen and not recovered) - will be determined by the Principal and the Campus Technologist. Maximum amount $709.98.

    • The first incident of Chromebook damage will result in the appropriate fee as indicated below, as well as the loss of privilege to take a device home:

      • Minor damage is an additional $25 fee
      • Excessive / intentional hinge damage is $79
      • Missing keys from the keyboard are $79
      • Excessive screen damage is $200
    • If a student loses the Chromebook - The student must report the missing Chromebook to Mrs. Railsback right away. The device will be locked to prevent use. If the device has not been located after 3 school days, the student will need to pay an additional $25 fee. The student is then placed on the Day User list and must check out a device to use each day. This loaner device may NOT leave campus for any reason.

    • If a Chromebook is stolen while away from the campus - The parent/guardian is responsible for providing a copy of the police report that shows the case file number for the incident.  Administration will then determine if the student will be provided access to a replacement device or placed on the Day User list.

We understand that sometimes bad things happen. However, we all need to work together to ensure Chromebooks will be available for future students.
