    Assistant Principal

    Noé A. Denova is a native Houstonian and proud Madison HS graduate who is currently serving at Madison HS as 10th grade Assistant Principal. Mr. Denova has been in education for over 8 years graduating from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor’s degree in bilingual education. Noé later went on to receive his Master’s degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M College Station. Mr. Denova has served at multiple capacities including classroom teacher & mentor, district office Multilingual support staff for campuses (ES – HS), and campus leadership.

     

    Mr. Denova is extremely excited to kick off this academic school year and looks forward to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure student learning occurs each and every day. To an extraordinary school year!

    Assistant Principal

    Anetra Hunt serves as an Assistant Principal, and helps to ensure that the school stays committed to excellence in teaching and learning for each student and every program. Anetra will be beginning her 19th year in Education in the fall of 2022. She is a graduate of Southern University-Baton Rouge, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She also hold a Masters of Arts in Counseling, and Masters of Education in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University.

    Her main goal is to support teachers to ensure that students discover their personal vision in life and reach their highest potential. Anetra believes that building strong relationships with students, families, and the community will help ensure the success of every student and create a safe, exciting, and engaging learning environment.

    • Oversee the Special Education Department
    • Ensure federal and state compliance of IDEA
    • Assist in the facilitation of ARDs
    • Monitor students' schedule of services
