At Meyerland, we teach our athletes to not only be leaders in their respective sports, but leaders in the classroom. We give them the tools to be successful on and off the field. Our coaching staff is made up of teachers who bring a broad base of knowledge to our athletics program and who have the skills to help mentor and teach students how to be successful in all phases of life. We take pride and ownership in being a great athletics program.  Only 7th/8th grade students are allowed to compete in the UIL sports.  All students wishing to try out for a UIL sport must be registered through RMA (Register My Athlete).  The only sports incoming 6th graders are allowed to compete in are baseball and softball, which are club sports.
