MEYERLAND ATHLETICSAt Meyerland, we teach our athletes to not only be leaders in their respective sports, but leaders in the classroom. We give them the tools to be successful on and off the field. Our coaching staff is made up of teachers who bring a broad base of knowledge to our athletics program and who have the skills to help mentor and teach students how to be successful in all phases of life. We take pride and ownership in being a great athletics program. Only 7th/8th grade students are allowed to compete in the UIL sports. All students wishing to try out for a UIL sport must be registered through RMA (Register My Athlete). The only sports incoming 6th graders are allowed to compete in are baseball and softball, which are club sports.
If your child is interested in participating or trying out for any UIL sport that Meyerland Middle School offers, then the following must be completed:

- All student athletes must be cleared through RMA before they can try out, practice, or participate in any UIL sport.

Hello everyone. Rep days are back!! Baseball rep days starting Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes will run till Thanksgiving. The cost is 100. Per month or 65 per month for one class a week. Please fill out the google sign up registration and will see everyone Tuesday depending on whether. Quick side note. These classes are not required if you plan to tryout for meyerland Baseball.
