Mr. Mansilla,

 I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful things you taught the children in your class this school year.  I am impressed with how you handled the class.  I have seen the progression in every student from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.  It is wonderful to see the students reading, conversing, singing, and writing Spanish.  Even more magnificent, is to see how the children respect you, their teacher.

I was delighted to find out that you played the guitar.  Emma’s PK teacher, Ms. Arocha, also played the guitar and I found that Emma caught rhymes & rhythms quickly and this has served her well in learning to read.  Emma has found a love for books & words and is constantly reading & writing stories.  The greatest thing you have done with these children is to teach them to read.  They will always carry this part of you with them throughout their lives. 

Thank you for all your hard work this school year.  The Treviño family is very much appreciative of all that you have done to support, teach, and love our children.
