    PSAT 8TH AND 9TH

    About This Exam
    The PSAT 8/9 is a test that will help you and your teachers figure out what you need to work on most so that you’re ready for college when you graduate from high school. It tests the same skills and knowledge as the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10 — in a way that makes sense for your grade level. More information

    SAT

    About This Exam
    The SAT and SAT Subject Tests are a suite of tools designed to assess your academic readiness for college. These college entrance exams, for 11th and 12th graders, provide a path to opportunities, financial support and scholarships. The SAT is offered on six Saturday's.
     
    *HISD also offers a school day SAT on April 5, 2017, which is free for all HISD 11th graders.

    COLLEGE BOARD + KHAN ACADEMY

    Khan Academy Building on its efforts to encourage HISD high school students’ success on the PSAT and SAT tests, the district encourages students to use CollegeBoard + Khan Academy’s Official SAT Practice website. This test preparation program is available to all district students in grades 7–12. On average, Khan Academy increases test scores dramatically. Read more...
