"When I Grow Up" Expo Career

Join HISD’s Career Readiness department for a FREE day of career exploration on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hattie Mae White ESC, 4400 West 18th Street.

You will be inspired by over 100 exhibitors from local companies demonstrating the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in high-demand, high-growth industries. Be ready to explore a wide variety of careers in our region that you may not typically think about. During the When I Grow Up Expo, students of all ages will enjoy hands-on career awareness and exploration activities. Don’t miss out on watching your friends compete in one of the school competitions. Attendees will have fun taking part in exhibitor workshops, visiting the Career Ready Wagon, riding trains, food trucks, student performances and more.
