Dedicated to excellence in education
Our entire district is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 6-12). More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code. Our Computer Science Education Week is making a statement that Houston I.S.D. is ready to teach these foundational 21st-century skills. To continue bringing programming activities to your students, the Office of Career Readiness, along with DroneBlocks, EarSketch, and Amazon Future Engineer endorsed BootUp and CoderZ, want to make our Computer Science Education Week event huge. We encourage you to explore, learn, and compete this week in support of #CSforAll, #CSforGood, and #CSEverywhere.
CSEdWeek, December 6-12, 2021, is an annual program dedicated to inspiring K-12 students to take interest in computer science.
