Rocketry

          Club

Students are welcome to join our Rocketry Club. By joining this club, students learn how to design, build, and fly their individually made rockets. Students gain and understand the meaning of rocket science, as well as build connections between physics, mathematics and engineering and get to apply it firsthand.

Students go to NASA regularly to test fly our rockets. The Rocketry Club truly is a place to build long lasting friendships and rockets and compete on the national stage of rocketry.

The Chavez High School Rocketry Club participates in the Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC).
