The Chavez I.B. Prep Programme is an academically rigorous program designed to challenge students and prepare them to be successful in college and beyond.

In 9th and 10th grade, students are placed in advanced academic cohorts and take Pre-IB courses to prepare them for their 11th and 12th grade year.

In 11th and 12th grade, students may enroll in the Diploma Program (6 IB courses and Theory of Knowledge) or choose to take individual IB courses and earn certificates.

In order to be a Chavez IB Prep student, students must take all Pre-IB courses in Social Studies, Science, Math, and English their 9th and 10th grade years and at least 2 advanced courses as an 11th and 12th grader.
