NEW THIS YEAR: Registration for students entering PK-5th grade in 2024-2025 will be completed online!

Step 1: Verify that your home address is within the Garden Oaks Montessori zone: http://schoolfinder.houstonisd.org

Step 2: Register with HISD online here. You will need to submit the following documents at the time of registration:

• Child’s birth certificate or other proof of age and identity
• Child’s immunization record
• Child’s social security card
• Parent’s driver’s license showing the same address as the student’s registration address
• Three of the following five items as proof or residency:
  1. Current cycle electric bill showing residential service with name and address of residents
  2. Current cycle gas bill showing residential service with name and address of residents
  3. Current cycle water bill showing residential service with name and address of residents
  4. Harris County Appraisal District statement showing homestead exemption for current year or warranty deed if you recently purchased your home. If you are purchasing a home in the school zone, bring a signed contract with a closing date within thirty days. Final closing documents must be submitted to the school, and you must be living in the residence before the school year begins.
  5. If you are currently leasing a home or apartment, the lease must list all occupants living in the home including all children. Please bring entire lease agreement. All lease agreements will be verified with the landlord.
