Writers in the Schools would like to congratulate the following young writers from your school for having their work selected for the 10th Annual A Light in the Forest Reading.  The winning authors were chosen out of approximately 700 students from 5 WITS schools in Houston.

 Please announce the winners at your school, and remind them to attend the ceremony on Sunday, April 22.  All readers should be at The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center no later than 2:30 p.m.  We also cordially invite you and your teachers to attend this wonderful event.  We are very proud of our students!

  After the event, we will send you photos of your students participating that you can use on your school’s web site or other publicity materials.
