•  Restarting the computer will resolve most common problems, such as losing internet connection, trackpad not working, blank screen, etc.

Students who experience non-emergency software/hardware failure should see Mr. Rivas in the Tech Room before/after school and during lunch. If it is an emergency please click on the button below to get immediate help or replacement (available at school during school hours 8:00AM-3:15pm).

    Did you forget your laptop?

Students who forget to fully charge or bring their laptop to school can see Mr. Rivas in the Tech Room before first period for a loaner laptop. Students should be ready to provide a comparable item, like a personal cell phone, as collateral. The laptop MUST be returned at the end of the day. Lost/misplaced laptops or requesting a laptop loaners DO NOT constitute an emergency.

    Backing up your files

If your laptop is deemed unusable, Mr. Rivas will issue a loaner laptop until your device has been repaired. In the event your original laptop is beyond repair, then the loaner will become your permanent laptop for the remainder of the year.

For this reason we encourage students to same all their files to OneDrive, a cloud-based drive. Doing so will ensure you have access to important documents should you lose use of your original laptop. We are not responsible for the loss of any documents or files stored on the hard drive of your issued laptop.
