Academic Counselor (Last Names A-L)
I am proud to work on a beautiful campus such as DeBakey High School. I have been a high school counselor for over 10 years and love every aspect of academic counseling. Prior to becoming a counselor, I was a business teacher and taught topics ranging from entrepreneurship to finance. I have two sons that I truly adore and love creating memories with them. I am an avid candle lover and cherish moments spent with family and friends.
Academic Counselor (Last Names M-Z)
I am a proud product of Houston ISD. I am originally from Mexico but have lived all my life in Houston. I was the first person in my family to attend college. As a first-generation college student, I understand the many obstacles students may face in furthering their education, and this is why I decided to become an Academic Counselor. I am passionate about art and animal welfare. I love to travel with my art teacher husband and enjoy cuddling with my cat and two dogs.
