Current returning students who will need transportation for the 2021-2022 school year must request transportation by filling out the survey posted on the HUB.New incoming students who require transportation must note it on the New Student Contact Information Survey.Routes will only be created for those eligible students requesting a route. Please make sure the address is up to date, as any discrepancy will cause a major delay in being assigned a correct route.The HISD Transportation Department will send out route information about 2 weeks before the start of the school year.Students must ride the bus they are assigned to. Any requests for changes to the student's stop and route must be made to the school by filling out an Alternative Stop Request form.Remember, approval is at the discretion of the HISD Routing & Scheduling Dept and not at the school level.Students who reside more than 2 miles from the campus are eligible for transportation services. Parents or guardians of students who are not eligible (less than 2 miles) for bus service must arrange for the student’s transportation to the campus.
Student Badge Program
Personalized badges will be provided to all bus riders. Students must have their badges everyday and will need to scan their badge everytime they get on and off the bus. Scanning the badge helps track where students are.
If a student loses a badge, a replacement will have to be requested here. The cost to replace the badge is $5 and will be paid to the HISD Transportation Department, not the school.
