• PowerUp is a districtwide initiative aimed at preparing students for the world beyond the four walls of the classroom. Part of this effort includes the district’s one-to-one laptop program, which provides every high school student with a laptop to use for learning at school and at home. For this privilege, each student is required to pay an annual, non-refundable $25 fee.
     
    Westside High School students "PoweredUp" for the first time in January of 2015. Since then, teachers have incorporated technology in their lessons to help provide rigorous, engaging instruction.  
  • Student Laptop Deployment for 2022-23

     

    Location: A204 Tech Room next to College Room

     

    •  Before school, during lunch, or after school

     

    All students and parents or guardians are required to pay the $25 non-refundable PowerUp Feeacknowledge and sign the 2022-23 Laptop Loan Agreement to receive the laptops (English Spanish).

     

    Payment can be made through SchoolPay or by paying cash – e-receipt of the payment will be required at pickup.
