PowerUp is a districtwide initiative aimed at preparing students for the world beyond the four walls of the classroom. Part of this effort includes the district’s one-to-one laptop program, which provides every high school student with a laptop to use for learning at school and at home. For this privilege, each student is required to pay an annual, non-refundable $25 fee.Westside High School students "PoweredUp" for the first time in January of 2015. Since then, teachers have incorporated technology in their lessons to help provide rigorous, engaging instruction.

Student Laptop Deployment for 2022-23
Location: A204 Tech Room next to College Room
- Before school, during lunch, or after school
All students and parents or guardians are required to pay the $25 non-refundable PowerUp Fee, acknowledge and sign the 2022-23 Laptop Loan Agreement to receive the laptops (English Spanish).
Payment can be made through SchoolPay or by paying cash – e-receipt of the payment will be required at pickup.
