With 18 years of dedicated experience with Houston ISD, I am thrilled to join the esteemed faculty at Carnegie Vanguard High School. A proud Houston Heights native and Reagan High School alumnus, I bring a deep connection to our community and a strong commitment to education.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Studio Art, which has fueled my passion for fostering creativity and artistic expression in my students. My family hails from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and I treasure the rich cultural heritage that has shaped my identity and teaching philosophy.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to partner with renowned institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, FotoFest, Scholastic Arts, and the Asia Society of Texas. These collaborations have enriched my teaching and provided my students with unique opportunities to engage with the broader art community.

As I embark on this new chapter at Carnegie Vanguard High School, I am eager to inspire and support our students in their academic and artistic journeys.
