- Students for Refugees - Meetings Bi-Weekly on Wednesdays, during the second half of lunch in room 103.
- Riot Club - Supporting women and femme-identifying individuals by holding donation drives for essential items for homeless populations, like feminine products and toiletries. Meetings are held every Friday during the second half of lunch in room 103.

I am originally from Slidell, Louisiana, and have lived in Texas since 2006. I moved to Houston in 2015.

BA in English from Trinity University and a 2017 Hollyhock Fellow at Stanford University's Graduate School of Education.

I am starting my 10th year in education at CVHS, having started my career in education at Yes Prep and spent the last four years at The Energy Institute HS in HISD. Through storytelling and communication skills, I seek to provide access to educational spaces that help learners define their own sense of well-being, security, community, and success.

Over the years, I have traveled to Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Spain, and Japan with groups of students.

My favorite foods are Creole and seafood, especially crawfish, and I put hot sauce on basically anything.

Favorite books: Tolkien anything, ACOTAR series, Mistborn series, Zoot Suit, and Neverwhere

In my spare time, I listen to music and audiobooks, rewatch episodes of Sailor Moon, and walk my dogs, Gumbo and Hayley. I also have a cat named Nox, who is the boss of the house.
