12 National Merit Finalists in CVHS Senior Class

Congratulations to all 12 Carnegie National Merit semi finalists as they have been named as FINALISTS in the scholarship competition.

12 seniors at Carnegie Vanguard High School have qualified as finalists in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program and will now vie for more than $32 million in college scholarships.

Roughly 1.5 million high school juniors from across the country took the PSAT, which serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Less than 1 percent were named semifinalists. Only about 7,400 students will receive scholarships, which will be awarded beginning later this spring and through July.
