    Inflectional Endings

     

    * Inflectional Ending means to add a letter or several letters to make new words.

    Add -s or -es to make words plural. We add (-es) when the word ends with (s, ch, ss, and sh).

    Add -ed to verbs to make a past form of a verb.

    Add -ing to the verb to make a present continuous form of a verb.

    Add -er to adjectives of one syllable. (Comparative form).

    Add -est to adjectives of one syllable. (Superlative form).
