At this time, we are asking for parents and students to hold all questions regarding course selections until May 15, 2024.

The counselors are currently working with rising sophomores, juniors and seniors and are unavailable to respond to incoming freshman questions.

Please make sure to view the video and note that the course selection closes on May 31, 2024, at 3:00 pm thus giving ample time for questions to be answered.

Step 1: Watch Informational Video

Let's begin by watching this video that walks students and parents through the required courses for DeBakey Freshmen. The video will also give an overview of the course sequence, advanced courses, and the Personal Graduation Plan. Students and parents are advised to watch the video prior to completing the course selection form. Additional Resources: PowerPoint Presentation

Step 2: Complete Course Selection

After viewing the video, students and parents should complete the course selection form together. Once the form is completed and submitted, you may not make any changes to the course selection before the start of school. If changes are needed, they must be requested using the course change form within the first 10 days of the new academic year. After the tenth day, students will not be able to change their schedules.
