Welcome to your final year of HIGH SCHOOL!!! This is my first year as a Lee High School General and I could not be more excited! We will explore British Literature along with other well-written and well-respected texts of literary merit.

I am a first generation South African. My family and I immigrated to New Jersey before apartheid ended in 1994. I moved to Texas when I was in middle school. During my time in high school, I participated in the Advanced Placement program as well as literary and art- related extracurricular activities. I also was a competitive equestrian and avid volunteer.

I attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where I was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. I received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in History. After graduating, I moved to Houston to begin my career as an educator. I taught at North Forest High School for three years.

After a rather circuitous journey, here I am, saluting you Lee High School Generals!!!
