The Wisdom High School UIL Academics program has been spearheaded by Wisdom's current principal, Michelle Wagner. The UIL (University Interscholastic League) Academics program was created by The University of Texas at Austin to give motivated students and schools a medium in which to showcase their academic achievements in a variety of areas from Mathematics to Poetry. Wisdom High School currently offers coaching in Mathematics for Number Sense, Calculator Applications as well as the General Mathematics competitions as well as coaching for Debate. Ms. Wagner is passionately involved in the UIL program and is working to build the current programs as well as expand into other areas.
