DeBakey High School Summer Reading List - All Grades
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Your student has received the Summer Reading List identifying the reading required before entering the English class for this 2022-23 school year. The purpose of summer reading is to: encourage reading, set expectations for English classrooms, assess reading and writing skills, and expose students to literature found on the AP exams. We are confident that this reading program will enrich our exemplary school curriculum as well as our students for future academic challenges; however, please be advised that some selections contain adult language, themes, and situations.
