SCHOOL BELIEF STATEMENTS
Our Student Poetry Reading featured original poetry from 20 Kashmere Gardens Elementary 3rd through 5th Grade students. This unique opportunity was the result of a partnership between the Houston Public Library (HPL), Writers In the Schools (WITS) and Kashmere Gardens Elementary. Student performers took part in a series of Young Writers Workshops developed by WITS.

We are thankful for the wonderful work being done by our City Council Member Jerry Davis.
