Crespo Elementary is a Houston Independent School District Magnet School for Fine Arts. Located conveniently at the corner of Loop 610 and I-45 South, Crespo is easily accessible and just minutes from all parts of the city.
All students at Crespo benefit from a rigorous curriculum in mathematics, reading, writing, science and social studies with a strong emphasis placed on literacy across all subject areas. It is our goal that students learn how to analyze information, listen with an open mind, solve problems together and communicate clearly what they understand. These are the skills students will need for work, leardership and continuous learning in the 21st century.
Crespo boasts a School Wide Fine Arts Program. Every child enrolled at Crespo from Pre-K through Fifth Grade is involved in the Fine Arts Program. Students from Pre-K through Second Grade rotate throughout all classes offered. Students from Third Grade to Fifth Grade have the opportunity to specialize in a Fine Arts area. We offer seven fine arts areas: Music, Art, Band, Choir, Dance, Drama and Technology. We also provide a two science labs, physical education and a learning lab for our students.
