Chavez High School encourages all students at the high school to participate in our interscholastic sports programs. We believe that the opportunity for participation in a wide variety of student-selected activities is a vital part of a student's total educational experience. Lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, and fair play are all integral parts of the athletic experience. Participation is a privilege that carries with it responsibilities to the school, to the sport, and to the students themselves. These experiences contribute to the development of the well-rounded individual, allowing them to maximize their potential for success.

We offer a wide variety of sports for both boys and girls during each season of the school.
