Students at Wharton DLA will attend all day on Wednesdays for the 2017-2018 school year. We will follow the HISD District calendar, and there are early dismissal days built into the schedule. This change is based on House Bill 2610, which states students must be in school a certain amount of minutes per school year. HISD Board policy states that we must be in attendance 76,000 minutes (or 440 minutes per day) in order to account for inclement weather days.
