The Transportation Department supports students and teachers by providing safe, professional, and efficient transportation to and from school, field trips, athletic competitions, and more. With nearly 1,400 employees, the department transports about 36,000 students to and from school daily, using of fleet of about 1,000 buses that travel more than 86,000 miles per day and approximately 15 million miles annually.
