Our annual Holiday Craft Night will take place on Thursday, December 4th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Santa Claus will be present and children can have their pictures taken for $6.00. The pictures will be sent home with students on Tuesday, December 9th. Children can make a variety of holiday ornaments and cards. Refreshments will be served.
Our annual on-campus Book Fair will take place on Tuesday, December 9 through Thursday, December 11. Students will visit the Book Fair at least one time during these three days. The fair will be open before school and after school each day to allow parents an opportunity to purchase books. Parents are invited to come anytime during the school day between 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. This will be a great time to purchase a few books as a holiday gift for your child.
We are seeking a full time General Music Teacher and Choir Director for an immediate opening or for the 2015-2016 school year. Responsibilities include teaching students in grades prekindergarten through grade 5 and conducting an auditioned choir for grades 3-5. Candidate must be a certified teacher. The Harvard Parent Book Club will read “How Children Succeed” by Paul Tough. Why do some children succeed while others fail? Grit, Curiosity, and the Hidden Power of Character. The Book Club will meet on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Boulevard Realty located at 1545 Heights Boulevard. The evening moderators will be Harvard teachers John Schaff and Karla Cisneros.
