  • CVHS Online REGISTRATION for the 2025-2026 school year:

     

    Please read all the instructions and the steps to follow thoroughly before starting the registration:

     

    1. Create an account with HISD if you do not have one already (link at the end)

     

    1. For HISD students: verify the student information and make any changes if needed.

    For new students: complete the new student registration forms

     

    1. Only current HISD students will see the question below! 

    Everyone must select YES. The reason is because this question was designed for zoned schools and not SUS.

     

    1. This question will apply to everyone. 

    After entering your address information and your HISD-zoned school has been identified, you will then have the option to select Carnegie Vanguard High School.

    Please disregard the yellow message prompting you to submit a transfer application—this step is handled automatically once your seat has been confirmed.

    1. Make sure that you complete each step in the left column until your signature (do not skip a step).

    • All necessary documents below must be uploaded under the “Document upload”.
    • Prepare an electronic version to upload it when requested.
    • Without these documents we won’t be able to register your student.

     

    Have the following documents ready

    • Parent/ guardian Driver’s license or passport
    • Proof of Residence of Parent or Legal Guardian (current utility bill, even if you already provided one for your acceptance)
    • Student Birth Certificate
    • Immunization Records
    • Your latest current report card

    Once you receive your final report card for this current year (probably in June) please replace the previously uploaded one with the final report card.

    Thank you for your patience throughout the registration process and with submitting your documents.

    Since we are not your zoned school, we do not automatically receive your information from HISD, which can create challenges. That’s why we ask that you provide all required documents directly in our system.

    The good news is—you’ll only need to do this once for the rest of your high school journey with us! 😊
