Next Level Urgent Care Centers
HISD staff, including those who are not campus-based, may get a COVID-19 screening at no cost at the 16 contracted Next Level Urgent Care Centers. (For quicker service and appointments, however, campus-based staff should utilize campus-based testing through Fulgent by visiting the HISD Health Alerts website.) Please make an appointment online, on the mobile app (text NLUCPP to 313131 to download the app) or by calling 281-783-8162.
Next Level Urgent Care provides walk-in care for non life-threatening illnesses and injuries such as sprains, strains, simple fractures, lacerations, allergies, rashes, and congestion issues. With convenient locations throughout the Houston area, we are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days per week.
All employees and their eligible enrolled dependents covered under an HISD medical plan may use any of the 16 Houston-area Next Level Urgent Care centers listed on the page. Only these 16 locations cited are included. If services are performed outside of these locations, you will be responsible for all charges incurred.
HISD employees and their eligible dependents enrolled in the Select Plan may use these clinics at no charge. All other employees and their eligible dependents enrolled in an HISD medical plan must pay a $20 visit fee. Employees not enrolled in a HISD medical plan will not be able to use the Next Level Urgent Care Centers under the new program.
Conditions they regularly treat include the following: ear infections, cold/flu, cough/sore throat, minor burns, lacerations, rash/skin infections, sprains, broken bones, dehydration, and STDs.
Next Level offers three ways to get in line for an appointment:

For benefits-eligible employees not enrolled in an HISD medical plan, an office visit will cost $65. The HISD Health & Wellness Centers at HMW and Attucks Middle School will continue to operate at their current schedule.
