HISD Health & Wellness Centers

  • ☑ How to make appointments at the HISD Health and Wellness Centers
Next Level Urgent Care operates the HISD Health and Wellness Centers and has made some adjustments to their website regarding how to make an appointment online. These changes are effective Feb. 1, 2021. Next Level now has a login page for each of the two HISD onsite clinics, where you will have access to scheduling, clinic information, provider bios, blogs, and other health tips.

Start by going to the NLUC website here.
    • Click on Employer Solutions, and select Onsite Clinic from the drop-down menu.
    • Where it says Onsite Member, click where it says Click Here
    • This will bring you to the Next Level Client Login page.
    • Log in using the following:
      Username: HISD
      Password: Nextlevel
That brings you to a page where you can select either the HMW clinic or the Attucks MS clinic. After you select the clinic, you have two choices: Request Same-Day Sick Visit or make an appointment with either Dr. Wan or another clinic staff member. If you request a same-day sick visit, fill out your name and additional information required, and someone at the clinic will call you to discuss your situation. Be sure to use your name as it appears on your HISD ID card and your correct date of birth so that all your clinic records will be in once place.

Scheduling an appointment on the NLUC app on your mobile device has not been changed and does not require you to log in.
If you have any questions, please call Next Level at 281-869-3630.

The HISD Health and Wellness Centers are available for COVID-19 testing at no cost to employees and their eligible dependents over the age of 5. Appointments are preferred, which can be made on the Next Level mobile app, but employees may also call the clinic if they can’t use the app or all slots are full. Employees should inform the clinics that they are coming in for a COVID-19 test only. Any HISD employee, regardless of if they are enrolled in an HISD medical plan or have been potentially exposed at work, is eligible for testing. Also eligible for testing are any HISD employee’s dependents (age 5 or over) enrolled in an HISD medical plan.
    To expedite testing:
    • Employees must present their HISD identification badge to validate employment status.
    • Dependent eligibility will be validated at the clinics.

Testing will typically but not necessarily be completed within 24 hours.

HISD Health and Wellness Centers operated by Next Level Urgent Care

The clinics are open regular hours over the winter break except for Christmas and New Year's. Happy holidays!

These convenient clinics make it easy for eligible employees and their covered dependents age 5 and older to receive urgent care close to where they work. Walk-in patients are not welcome at this time so please make an appointment on the Next Level app or by calling 281-869-3630.

HISD Employee Health & Wellness Centers are here for most of your day-to-day health care and wellness exams. Even better, if you’re enrolled in an HISD medical plan, you can use these services at no cost to you, and also includes care for your covered dependents, age 5 and older.

If you’re eligible for HISD health care benefits but not enrolled in the HISD medical plan, you can still use the centers for just $65-$125 per visit, plus any additional lab fees.
