• Incoming freshmen and parents,

    Congratulations on being accepted to CVHS! Here is some information you need to know for try-outs and volleyball in general as you have all selected volleyball on your freshmen course selection sheets.

    Try-outs begin on Monday, August 5 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM and will be held at Carnegie Vanguard HS (1501 Taft 77019) in the gym. Be prepared to come daily the first week.

     In order to be eligible to play, there are several forms that you must bring to try-outs.

     Be prepared to do the following on the first days of try-outs:

    • Overhand serve across the net
    • Be able to effectively bump, pass, spike and set a volleyball
    • Come prepared with everything you need such as kneepads, athletic clothing, water, etc.
    • Come on time
