Hi! My name is Anne Taylor and am pleased to introduce myself. I grew up in Houston and have lived here most of my life. I graduated from the Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies-Curriculum & Instruction. Out of school I enjoy reading, going to the dog park with my dog, and spending time with my family.

I’m going to be an elementary enrichment teacher this school year at MIMS working in the library, and already I’m delighted to be part of such a positive and caring team. The school’s strong values radiate throughout. I started my teaching career in HISD, and this will be my fifth year. I previously was a reading and ELA teacher for the past four years. My focus is going to be strongly on literacy with the students throughout this school year. I love what I do and look forward to reading, exploring, and all the fun we are going to have with books this year.
