What is NJHS ?

  • The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor students who demonstrate excellence in areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Service and Character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921. 


    The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a service organization that recognizes those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Service, and Character.

     

    This organization is open to 7th and 8th grade students at MIMS who maintain a grade point average of 3.7 (93) or above, an E average in conduct, and have evidence of participation in community service projects outside of MIMS.
