Hello, my name is Bin Wang, 王滨, I am a Mathematics and Computer Science teacher.  The part of my job that brings the most joy is cultivating respectful relationships with my students and seeing them develop into successful young adults.

I was born in Beijing, grew up in Queens, New York City.  I am a graduate of the University of Houston. The 2023-2024 school year marks my 7^th year teaching, 4^th year at MIMS.  Growing up, I had a memorable and funny math teacher, and I try my best to replicate that for my students, whether it’s telling a joke or relating lessons to the real world. 

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching students excel at their passions, such as sports or academic competitions.  I serve as the point person for the senior field trip to New York City, where our students visit historical landmarks and use their language skills to explore the largest Mandarin Chinatown, Flushing,  法拉盛.

Thank you for the warm welcome to MIMS in 2020, I am ecstatic to be a part of this wonderful community.
