Four MIMS art students receive “HISD Finalist Ribbon” at Rodeo art contest. The other four students move on to the higher “NRG” level and were awarded the red ribbons.

MIMS student-artists submitted 8 pieces to Hatti Mae White on Tuesday, Jan. 8, for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Competition. Four of the pieces were awarded “Finalist Ribbon,” meaning they were considered for Best of Show, 1st Prize.

The other four student-artists were chosen from the HISD finalists to further compete in the NRG arena and received the red ribbons “Award of Excellence”.
