Question: Can students who cannot speak Mandarin still apply to MIMS Middle School? 

Answer: Yes. This is the reason why we offer the Mandarin proficiency test to all applicants. Those with no or little Mandarin speaking ability will be placed in the beginners track. Those who pass a predetermined Mandarin fluency level will be placed in the Advanced track.
