Demonstration Day
- Demo day is an opportunity to
- Collaborate with peers on taking a pre-planned lesson and making it your own
- Practice the instructional portion of the model
- Use feedback from peers to improve your planning
- Teachers teach as you would any class
- Attendees assume most students are going to follow teacher's instruction - do not go overboard to be silly or "act" like students with over the top behavior
- Max 15 "students" or "attendees"
- Rotation Schedule
- Presenting Teachers
- Deliver two lessons
- Visit one lesson
- Teacher Apprentices and Learning Coaches have been assigned teachers for demo day
- Demo Day Protocol (Teacher attendees - please take 3 before leaving)
- Teacher will teach first 45 minutes
- 10 minute DOL and grade
- 5 minutes to complete Love/Wonder About
- 5 minute share out "Love it"
- 5 minute share out "wonder about"
- 5 minute for teacher to reply on adjustments

- Teachers Demonstrating first 45 minutes of lesson
