Dear Parents and Students, 

My name is Stephen Clarke and I have been in education for 9 years. I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a BA in History. It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the U.S. and AP History teacher for the upcoming school year at Jack Yates High School. I am honored to have the opportunity to embark on this educational journey with you all, and I look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and engaging learning experiences. I have been an educator for 9 years and I am determined to help young people grow academically. The expectation for my course is that each student gains the knowledge and skills necessary to not only pass our STAAR exams but gain an increased awareness of our forever changing world.
