Ms. Brown
As an experienced educator and dedicated case manager, Ms. Brown brings over seven years of experience working with diverse and at-risk youth as well as special education teams. Ms. Brown holds a Master of Education in Special Education from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from Sul Ross State University. Ms.Brown's certifications include Generalist (4-8), ESL Supplemental (EC-12), Educational Diagnostician (EC-12),Special Education Supplemental (EC-12), and Special Education (EC-12).
Ms. Brown’s career is marked by her commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments and supporting students with unique needs. Currently, she serves as a casemanager and Science co-teacher at Jack Yates HighSchool. Her previous roles include teaching Lifeskills 18+ at Dickinson HighSchool and, and serving as a Behavior Specialist over the Autism program at Brookside Intermediate.
With a robust skill set in differentiated lesson development, dynamic process implementation, and stakeholder communication, Ms. Brown excels in collaboration with colleagues and technology integration.
