Greetings!

I am a Houston, and more specifically, 3rd Ward native. Growing up during the heights of Yates Basketball are memories I will never forget. I completed high school on the southwest side of Houston at Strake Jesuit before heading to Howard University in Washington, DC. While at Howard, I was a member of the tennis team and got my degree in Biology in May 2019. I am a lover of sports; NBA and soccer especially, traveling, hiking, comics and manga, dogs, and spending time with my family. I am a huge lover of black literature as well! I am currently reading The Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler and just finished freshwater by Akwaeke Emezi. I look forward to sharing my love of learning and science with all students this year!
