I am Mrs. L. Jackson, a passionate educator of mathematics. I received my Bachelors in Mathematics from the Illustrious Howard University. This year marks my 15th year as a teacher and my 6th year at the Great Jack Yates HS. I have taught 6th-8th grades in middle school, 9th-11th grades in high school, Algebra I, Strategic Learning in Math, Geometry, Geometry Pre-AP, Math Models, Trigonometry, PreCalculus and Algebra II. 

Teaching has always been my dream career and I am grateful to have served for this long. I am a lover of math and all things logic. My goal as a math teacher is to increase my students’ problem-solving confidence as they continue their journey as life-long learners and solution-oriented members of society. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
