I was born in Nigeria, raised in Brooklyn, lived in Baltimore, and now reside in Houston. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University, where I served on the executive board of student organizations and worked as a Resident Advisor. After graduating, I started working as a recruiter in the big tech space, till I found my way to education in late 2024. I have always enjoyed working with young people, ever since I helped with my church's Sunday school at just 12 years old.

I teach English II Reading & Writing and English II Intervention (Literary Genres).

I am looking forward to an excellent year with my students as we explore, dissect, and analyze various literary texts and engage in intellectual and higher-ordered discussions and writing.
