Theatre Magnet Auditions

Students seeking to become part of the Theatre magnet program need to prepare a memorized monologue or poem from a published source.  The piece should be between 30 seconds to one minute in length.  Students will also be asked to read from a provided script.  Students scored on the following rubric:

• Memorization = 50 points
• Stage presence/Physicality = 50 points
• Diction/Articulation = 50 points
• Projection = 50 points
• Characterization = 50 points
• Reading from a script = 50 points

Total = 300 points
