Creative Writing Audition Requirements

• Part I
  • Submit two samples of creative writing (poetry, fiction, etc.)
• Part II
  • Submit a writing sample based on one  of the audition prompts below:
    • Option #1:  The word "ephemeral" means to last a very short amount of time.  Think of something that might be an example of this word.  Then write a very short poem (haikus are welcome!) or flash fiction story (no more than a paragraph) based on the example you thought of.  Do not use the word ephemeral in your poem or flash story.  Instead, consider how your poem or story might show how your subject does not last a long time.
    • Option #2:  Write a poem or short story (no more than a page) in the form of a goodbye letter.  
• Part III
  • Answer interview questions during the scheduled audition.
