A 23-year education professional, Namisha L. Joiner, M.S.Ed. has certifications as K-12 Principal, 8-12 ELAR, 4-8 Generalist, and an ESL Supplement. She is also a 200 certified yoga instructor. 

Ms. Joiner exemplified a decade of progressive instruction and coaching as an ELA Curriculum Specialist, English content lead, Humanities and English master teacher, and 10th grade instructor in the New York City DOE Charter School system. Her efforts did not go unnoticed as she was selected and advanced as a 2017 finalist in the Big Apple Teacher Awards. She has written proposals, presented, chaired, and served as a member of the National Council for Teachers of English (NCTE) multiple years, and she also was commissioned to develop curriculum and faciliate instruction for yoga and natural wellness to grades 6-12 in Bronx, NY.  Namisha brings a strong skillset to the English classroom to facilitate and support student and team needs.  Namisha’s additional 13 years were at Texas school districts Fort Bend ISD, Alief ISD, and Houston ISD where she faciliated elementary, middle and high school students in 10th and 12th grade English Language Arts, as an Academic Coach, and 5th grade all inclusive. 

Namisha believes all students have a talent and intelligence, and she enjoys facilitating learning and inquiry that allows students to discover their inner abilities, ignite critical thought processes, and build their writing capacity.
