GREETINGS!!  My name is Mr. Meador. This starts my 8^th year at Yates, 6^th Year as an Adjunct professor at HCC. Coach Robotics team 6 years. 

Happily married to my High school sweet hart.  Dad of grown daughters and their husbands. Proud Papa of 2 Grand daughters (9 and 6) with 1 GrandSon on the way.

Promoted to Assistant Grocery Store Manager on Graduation Day from high school at Spring High School.

Enlisted into the U.S. Navy the following year. Where I Retired 22+ years later. In that time I was stationed aboard 4 different submarines and 3 different shore duty tours, and 1 Repair Ship. Some of the highlights of my submarine career include:

After retiring from the Navy: Moved home to Spring TX. Went to work with a hydraulic company in the fabrication department. I worked as a fabricator / assembler for 6 years before being promoted to Project Supervisor in the Repair department.

When offered the opportunity to use / share my navy experience at Jack Yates teaching maritime I took it and haven’t looked back. Became certified to teach high school CTE then certified to teach Logistics (Maritime) at Houston Community College in my 2^nd year with Jack Yates.

My favorite things to do are to spend time with my grand kids and my 2 dogs. I have 2 shepard rescue dogs; one is 60 pounds the other is 80 pounds.
