BIOGRAPHY

My roots are grounded in 3rd Ward. I’m a product of HISD and graduated from HSPVA. My alma maters are Lamar University and Texas Southern University. I always wanted to be an educator, partially because it’s in my DNA. My family comes from a long line of teachers from elementary to college level. The most fulfilling thing about my career is watching students develop in all aspects of their being as they journey through high school and beyond. It is an honor and privilege. My favorites are faith, family, friends, traveling, retailing, music and movies.
